A great opportunity exists for a Sous Chef who would like to progress their career within a quality hotel with an excellent reputation including a great opportunity to learn new skills.

Job Description

Our client is a privately owned boutique hotel currently closed for extensive refurbishment. The hotel is due to re-open in April.
The hotel boasts in excess of 20 bedrooms and a rosette restaurant well-known for serving exceptional food under the careful watch of their Michelin star executive chef

Required Experience

The hotel requires an individual currently at Chef de Partie level who would like to learn and develop their career further within a quality environment. If you are ready for your 1st Sous Chef position, the necessary training will be provided in developing your skills and abilities further.

As the Exec chef divides his time between more than one property, the ideal candidate will have the ability to take charge and direct the kitchen in the Kitchen Manager's absence.

Basic food hygiene is a requirement

This role would fit an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who would like to make a great career move working in a rosette kitchen

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary for this role is £17000- £18000 depending on experience.
A very achievable bonuses structure forms part of the position.
Live in accommodation can be provided.
