Software Development Engineer
Leading Defence organisation require an experienced Software Development Engineer to join their expanding team in Newport.
This role is for someone with sound knowledge of the development and application of commercial gaming engines. Should have a background in working with Open Source Code environments, in particular commercial available Virtual Environments, such as OpenSim technologies, is required. This role will require an ability to work in a small team and develop relationships with distributed colleagues from academia and industry.
This role is to assist in developing the application of Virtual Operations Environments using commercially available software packages, gaming engines and bespoke software packages.
Key skills include Java, C++, Visual .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, etc. Architecture knowledge is advantageous.
