An excellent opportunity for a Deputy Manager job, based in Swansea, to join a national organisation which promotes progression and encourages training , this is also an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Manager to work in a fantastically run home for the elderly. The Deputy Manager will be assisting the Manager with the day to day running of the home and would be expected to run the home independently in the absence of the home Manager. With support from the senior nursing team you will work in line with organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements.

The successful Deputy Manager should have at least NVQ level 3/4 in Social Care or relevant experience as well as a genuine interest to work with an elderly client group. An ability to communicate effectively at all levels is essential as well as a full driving license and a satisfactory enhanced CRB check.

The main responsibilities of the Deputy Manager will be to ensure all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home and always in the best interests of the clients. You will assess the needs of new clients and also manage, monitor and maintain budgets as agreed by the service manager.

The Deputy Manager will be paid a salary of £21,000 - £25,000 depending on experience and have the opportunity to progress in one the UKs largest and most well established care organisations.
