Our client, based in Cardiff has an urgent requirement for an experienced Air Quality Scientist. The job will involve undertaking air quality impact assessments for a wide variety of projects, including major highways schemes, airports and industrial developments, both in the UK and abroad.

In addition, the provision of support to other areas of the Environment group's

work, including EIA, would be expected.



The successful candidate will have a minimum of a first degree in an

atmospheric science or closely related subject, preferably a second degree,

and regulatory or consultancy experience. Practical experience in

undertaking ambient air quality assessments using modelling or monitoring

techniques is essential. It is also expected that the candidate will be or be

working towards becoming a full member of IAQM or other appropriate

professional body. Excellent written English and communication skills and a

full UK driving license are essential.
