My name is Dan, I’m the bassist in a band called Milano, we are based in Cardiff/Treforest and have been together as a 3 piece for a couple of years. We have just added a fourth member to our line up who will play extra guitar, keyboards and be in charge of samples and anything else we might use! Our drummer recently moved to Bristol and so we are looking to replace him.

We regularly play venues such as Barfly, Buffalo Bar, Welsh Club as well as London venues such as Water Rats and have played Carling Academys, The Point, etc... We have 14 songs recorded with more in progress, and are looking to push the band forward immediately. We are very ambitious.

We have just done a BBC Radio Wales Acoustic session in late and are getting regular BBC airplay off the back of it. We have gigs being offered to us in Water Rats (London), Barfly and Clwb Ifor Bach, and off the back of a showcase gig we did last year we’ve been asked to submit some of our more recent material to Jar Promotions who scout for Sony and BMG amongst others.

We are a rock band primarily but we are looking at getting into using samples, extra beats, strings, synths and basically having a massive sound. If you are interested let me know.
