Have you ever felt the need to do something extraordinary, to experience something that will leave you feeling on top of the world and able to accomplish anything you put your mind to? The you have what it takes to make a difference.

We are looking for runners who would like to take part in Race the Train - one of the most unique events in the sporting calendar. Held in Tywyn, mid Wales, on 16th August, this event tests the endurance of the runner against one of man's greatest inventions - the steam train. We are recruiting people to run in the main race (23K) or the 10K race, whilst raising funds for the Red Cross through sponsorship. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Registration is £20 and the minimum pledge is £150 - this amount alone would pay for the Red Cross to train 15 people in life saving first aid skills. All the money raised will support our community services across Wales such as providing short-term care and support in the home for people after an accident or illness, giving them the confidence to continue their daily lives.
